Twenty schools were represented at the Emporia State Cross Country meet on Friday October 3rd. The women finished second one place ahead of the host school. They were lead by three finsihers in the top 8: Irene Mitei placed 3rd in 18:48, Vanessa Weltmer finished 5th in 18:48, and Michelle Phillips finished 8th in 19:06. The men finished fourth in the 8K race and were led by Simion Tooh (3rd, 25:57) and Willy Kessio (4th, 26:07). For complete results see the links the schedule page.
